We love picture vocabulary cards over here in the Create Laugh Learn household. My daughter loves learning new words, and taking them in, and out of the pocket chart, as she tells me what each word says, or if the words are new to her, I tell her. Prekinder.com has been a favorite resource of mine when it comes to picture word cards.
You can find these spring themed word cards here.
We also love these insect word cards, that are perfect for learning about bugs this spring!
Tip- I just printed mine on card stock, but if you want them to be more durable, you might want to laminate them. The pocket chart is optional, but we use our pocket chart so much, that I find it very useful.
Suggestions of Use-
- Since Little C is only two years old, she puts these words in the chart one by one, so she can learn the words. Then she takes them off one, by one, and tells me the words again while she puts them away. She will repeat this process as many times as she feels like doing.
- Use the words for writing about spring.
- Have your child put the words in abc order
